What it means to try a product during its pilot

A product that evolves through use

ZLAPP is in pilot development. You can open it in a browser and explore its features while screens and workflows continue to evolve.

The pilot helps us understand how the app fits into the daily work of different farms. Where do you find what you need easily? Which step needs an explanation? Which records do you want to make most often?

Start with work you already know

Choose a familiar task: find an animal, look at the day’s work or record an expense. You already know the outcome you need, so you can judge whether the app helps you reach it.

The free pilot farm includes up to 25 animals, 2 facilities and 3 fields. Contact us before importing a larger herd. The options are explained on the pricing page.

Useful feedback includes context

You do not need to write a technical report. Four pieces of information are enough to start the conversation:

• What you were trying to do.
• Which screen you were on.
• What happened.
• What you expected to happen.

Your device and browser can also help us understand the issue. If you include a screenshot, you can hide your farm’s details.

Conversation is part of the trial

The pilot page includes a way to tell us about your farm and a prepared feedback email. The message opens in your email app: you review it and send it yourself.

Joining the pilot does not mean that your name or farm details will be published. We ask separately for permission to publish a testimonial, photograph or farm story.
